About

Check out this video from Reading United Academy that offers a glimpse into what United training is all about.

Developed by Reading United ACBody Zone soccer camps feature the best instruction by Reading United AC players and staff, multiple and convenient locations, dynamic curriculum and a great philosophy that mixes fun and learning while your child stays active and grows their love of soccer along with their skills.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to have your child learn from the best U-23 players in the United States.

US SoccerOur on location camps are comprehensive and address Ball Mastery and the Art of Scoring. This includes: ball control, dribbling, shooting skills, moves and feints. Players will bring their skills to life through interactive game situations and game play. There are also specialty camps on specific skills, like goaltending, held at Body Zone.

While camps can help youngsters go on to bigger and better things in soccer, some of our instructors have also made a name for themselves in the game.

Seven Reading United alumni were selected in the 2014 MLS draft. They were: Steve Neumann, 1st round (4th overall) by the New England Revolution; Damion Lowe, 1st round (8th overall) by the Seattle Sounders; Ben Sweat, 1st round (14th overall) by the Columbus Crew; Pedro Ribeiro, 1st round (15th overall) by the Philadelphia Union; Jimmy Ockford, 2nd round (2nd pick) by the Seattle Sounders; Tolani Ibikunle, 3rd round (11th pick) by the Colorado Rapids and Kadeem Dacres, 4th round (8th pick) by the Chicago Fire. All were involved with United summer camp.

Past instructors have also included C.J. Sapong and Luke Mulholland. Sapong went on to earn 2011 Rookie of the Year honors in the MLS while playing for Sporting KC. Mulholland earned the same distinction playing for the Wilmington Hammerheads of the USL PRO.

^Girls Only: This camp is for girls only and the featured instructor is Rachel Hoffman.

*Goalkeeping and The Art of Scoring Camps: These camps are cross-over camps and held simultaneously. Players receive instruction that is specialized for the camp they choose. However, the two camps at times will combine so goalkeepers can benefit from the challenge of partaking in drills with goal-scoring minded players and vice versa.

NEW Skills, Tricks and Flicks: This camp will concentrate on juggling skills, nutmegs, flicks and other soccer skills or "Pana" as known in the soccer world. RU staff will also pay close attention to relating these moves to game situations. This could be our most fun camp ever. Check out this YouTube video with Sean Garnier to get a feel for this camp.

Ball Mastery Camp: Become a silky dribbler on the pitch at this camp which teaches all of the moves.
