Tot Basketball
Tot basketball by Superdome Sports teaches the basics like dribbling, passing and shooting. And our goal is to create a fun, positive and non-competitive experience that promotes social interaction, physical activity and confidence.
School of Hoops Tot Basketball is directed by Andre Lockhart, youth basketball program director. Andre and his team of coaches can’t wait to bring their love of the game to your little movers!
Children must be three years old before the start of the session in order to participate. No equipment needed, just sneakers and a water bottle! Please note: Players may be moved up or down after the first class based on the coach’s discretion.

Skill Development Clinics
Help your child build confidence, develop strong fundamentals, and grow their love of the game with Skill Development Clinics! This six-session program is designed for both emerging and established players and is offered across three age groups.
Each one-hour clinic focuses on the essential skills every basketball player needs, including passing, shooting, dribbling, layups, defense, and rebounding. Players will get focused instruction, plenty of repetition, and opportunities to apply their skills in game-like situations.
Whether your player is just developing their foundation or looking to strengthen their existing skills, these clinics provide a fun, focused environment to learn, improve, and play with confidence.
Please note: New participants are welcome at every session — prior session participation is not a requirement.

- Coached by School of Hoops Director/Coach Andre Lockhart and his team.
- Excellent player to coach ratio for more personalized attention.
- Proper basketball attire should be worn (athletic shorts, t-shirt or jersey and basketball sneakers).

NEW! Game IQ Clinics
Build your young player’s basketball IQ, confidence, and understanding of the game with our new Game IQ Clinic! This six-week program includes six 55-minute clinics designed to help players make smarter decisions and become more effective on the court.
Players will develop their basketball IQ through instruction and game-based concepts focused on team play, offensive and defensive strategy, court awareness, and positioning. Topics include spacing and movement on offense, attacking zone defenses, man-to-man defensive concepts and positioning, zone defense concepts, reading and reacting to defensive coverages, and more.
Whether it’s understanding where to be, how to move without the ball, or how to recognize what the defense is giving you, the Game IQ Clinic will help players build the knowledge and confidence to become smarter, more effective teammates and players.

Fall 5v5 League
Superdome Sports 5v5 fall league is for boys and girls ages 9-11, and boys only ages 12-14 and grades 9-12.
The league features a showcase for player evaluation (to evenly distribute talent among teams), eight-week regular season (eight games) and playoff and championship/consolation games. All teams play no less than nine games with a 10th game for teams who make it to the championship. Game format: four 10-minute quarters.

Coach Andre is the Director of School of Hoops Youth Basketball programs at Superdome Sports. His passion for basketball has been shaped through years as a player, coach, and organizer of numerous community programs. He is also a Body Zone fitness professional who has helped countless individuals improve their lives through fitness and sport. Whether he is working with our Rock Steady Boxing program participants living with Parkinson’s disease or teaching a young child how to dribble a basketball for the first time, Coach Andre brings the same dedication, encouragement, and passion to every person he works with.
