Group Fitness

Body Zone’s group fitness program offers 50 plus different class formats and 139 weekly classes along with nationally renowned workouts like Zumba, POUND and Les Mills SPRINT, BODYFLOW, BODYPUMP, BODYCOMBAT, CXWORX, BODYSTEP and BODYATTACK. Our studio cycling classes are very popular, with several unique classes developed by our inspiring team of instructors. Our Bike Reservation System is mandatory for all cycling class participants and guarantees a bike for you when you obtain a reservation card at the 2nd floor wellness desk. We offer one reservation card per person up to two hours before a class begins.

Athletic Barre

Join us for a new total body and athletic workout! Meet us at our ballet barre for a 45-minute fitness inspired class that will focus on building strong legs and core with a mix of upper body work using fitness props like balls, tubing and light weights. This challenging workout will make you feel strong, flexible and fit and its small group setting will ensure you get the most out of every class.

SUP & Sip!

Enjoy an one-hour Stand-Up Paddleboard (SUP) Yoga class and reward yourself with a bubbly beverage at the end of your workout. Stand-Up Paddleboard Yoga focuses on flexibility and relaxing the mind while floating on water. Participants will be guided through a sequence of yoga poses and finish class with a focus on core strength. All fitness levels are welcome and modifications will be given for those who are new to paddleboard yoga. Prior yoga experience suggested but not necessary. For ages 16 and older. Hurry and sign up! This event is limited to only six participants.

Stand-Up Paddleboard HIIT

Stand-Up Paddleboard HIIT is an energetic class that focuses on your core and improving balance while strengthening and toning your entire body. This challenging class will keep you moving and having fun while working hard. Think: planks, mountain climbers, bicep work with bands and more! There will be modifications used for many exercises but not all. All fitness levels are welcome but a familiarity with core exercises is recommended and you must be comfortable with getting wet. For ages 16 and older.

Committed to making your fitness experience more engaging and fun, we partnered with MYZONE technology, a system of wearable heart rate monitors and real time feedback that will make your workout experience at Body Zone more interactive than before. Using bluetooth technology and TV monitors in our studios, it gives you instant feedback on your heart rate, effort expended and calorie burn — valuable feedback for your instructor too. We offer private group fitness classes for businesses, organizations and school groups. Use our facilities for your event or we’ll bring the class to you. Class Descriptions


Explosively popular in clubs around the world, this class combines kicks, jabs and strikes from a range of self-defense disciplines like karate, boxing and Tae Kwon Do. Try the ultimate martial arts workout … BODYCOMBAT™

The energizing step workout that makes you feel energized and alive. Using a height adjustable step and simple movements on, over and around the step you get motivation from sing-a-long music and approachable instructors. Cardio blocks push fat burning systems into high gear followed by muscle conditioning tracks that shape and tone your body.

A 30-minute high intensity interval training (HIIT(, low impact workout using an indoor bike as a tool. You’ll get bursts of intensity followed by short periods of rest that prepare you for the next effort.

Step Fusion
Utilizing a step to be adjusted at any height to meet the needs of the participants. Expect more athletic type movements and conditioning drills to push your cardiovascular fitness to the next level.

Utilizing a step to be adjusted at any height to meet the needs of the participants. 60 minutes of continuous cardio and step choreography fun!

Studio Cycling
This ‘freestyle’ cycling class is the instructor’s choice of music and motivation. Each class normally incorporates climbs and free spins to make the ride a super calorie burner and an extreme cardio workout. Be sure to mention if it is your first time taking an indoor cycling class so the instructor can help you set up your bike for proper alignment and give you some riding tips.

55 minutes. A latin-inspired, dance-fitness craze that incorporates international music and dance movements, creating a dynamic, exhilarating, and effective fitness system. This class combines fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body using an aerobics/fitness approach.


60 minutes. BODYPUMP™ is a revolutionary weight training workout in a group fitness setting that uses barbells with adjustable weights. Set to motivating music, BODYPUMP™ is a simple, athletic based workout that strengthens, tones and defines every major muscle in the body. Ideal for the beginner through the experienced exerciser as you are in charge of how much weight you put on the bar.

Corepole N’ Sculpt
Working as a group, exercises progress from single to multi-muscle movements using simple choreography executed on a unique fitness tool called the Corepole. Emphasis will be placed on form, technique and core awareness. Gains in strength are made utilizing the Corepole resistance bands.

CXWORX™ really hones in on the torso and sling muscles that connect your upper body to your lower body. It’s ideal for tightening your tummy and butt, while also improving functional strength and assisting in injury prevention. It’ll help you run faster … play harder … stand stronger! Your workout consists of exercises that both isolate (like crunches and leg extensions) and integrate (like standing balance and hovers) the various muscle groups. It challenges you and you really feel the benefits. (30 minutes)


Asian Fusion
Practiced more than 3,000 years, this priceless blend of Tai Chi, Qi Gong, yoga and acupressure points tapping incorporates continuous, gentle movements to purify and rejuvenate the whole body. Perfect for all, athletes to older adults.

Beginner Yoga
Caught between Chair Yoga and Yogabasics? This class is for you. It’s perfect for those who are new to yoga and are looking for a slow paced and relaxing class with a series of yoga poses practiced both sitting and standing. You must be able to be on your knees and maneuver up and down off the floor easily.

BODYFLOW™ is the revolution in mind-body training that is changing the way people feel about their bodies. This class is a dynamic exercise-to-music program that leaves members feeling relaxed and renewed. BODYFLOW™ combines the best of eastern disciplines, like yoga and tai chi, with popular new methods like Pilates.

Tai Chi/Qigong
This class merges Tai Chi and Qigong with the goal of improving mind, body and health through continuous gentle movements and breathing — meditation in motion. Physical benefits include improved posture, balance, coordination, endurance and flexibility. Mental benefits include reduced stress, improved awareness and mental clarity.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga
This is a moderately paced class with emphasis on good alignment and conscious movement with the breath. Build strength and muscular endurance in addition to flexibility, balance, and focus. Prior experience with yoga recommended.

Learn the basic poses of yoga in a class that will help you to build strength, increase flexibility and improve balance. Modifications are offered but participants must  be able to get onto, and up from, the floor with ease. Whether flowing thru Sun Salutations or holding poses in stillness, you will be encouraged to develop mindful breathing, focused attention, body awareness and self-acceptance.


BODYATTACK™ is a sports-inspired cardio workout for building strength, endurance, coordination and heart and lung fitness. It’s a high-energy interval training class that combines high and low impact aerobic moves with body weight exercises (push-ups, planks, crunches, squats, lunges and more) and power and agility moves.

It’s the ultimate circuit workout delivering interval cardio and muscle conditioning drills. Expect the unexpected with lots of variety and fun in this 45-minute class.

BOSU Bootcamp
60 minutes. Part cardio and part toning, this interval styled class provides a comprehensive, total body workout, while incorporating the BOSU ball.

Cardio Boxing
This class is all about cardio and core conditioning while focusing on the bag. It involves a mix of martial arts, strength training and core exercises to challenge you in a fun way. This class is for anyone and is for all levels of fitness. Please note: you must pick up a number at the 2nd floor Wellness desk to reserve your spot — only a maximum of 12 spots available. Must bring your own boxing gloves to participate.

Circuit Training
45 minutes of a total body workout, incorporating cardio and strength. You will use a BOSU Ball and other fun fitness props to push your fitness to the limit.

Core Plus
30 minutes of total body strength training with extra focus on core training. Take SPRINT before this class to get cardio and strength training in one hour.

FIT Bootcamp
Functional High Intensity Interval Training using the fundamentals of CrossFit. Get timed workouts of the day (WOD) designed by a BZ Trainer to test cardio and total body strength. Use equipment like: medicine balls, kettlebells, battle ropes, boxes, dumbbells, jump rope, sleds and more.

High Intensity Training
Come ready to sweat and be ready for a challenge! This class will be a series of intense timed circuits to increase your strength and cardio endurance. If you’re looking to improve your fitness level, this class is for you.

Rock your way to fitness with POUND®, a drumming-based cardio class that promises a high energy and super effective workout and jam session to your favorite tunes. Burn calories as you bang out close to 15,000 repetitions with neon green and light weighted drumsticks called Ripstix®. POUND® boasts science-backed benefits too. Drumming in rhythm helps lower stress and improve cognitive skills like focus and decision-making. All fitness levels are welcome.

Sarah received a BS in Kinesiology from Penn State University where she instructed group fitness classes. She is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, AFAA Certified Group Exercise Instructor, Les Mill’s certifications in BODYSTEP, BODYATTACK, BODYPUMP, BODYCOMBAT and CXWORX and is also Barre Above certified.
