Aquatic Fitness Programs

Due to new CDC guidance issued on May 13, fully vaccinated people will no longer be required to wear a mask while at Body Zone Sports and Wellness Complex effective May 14, 2021.

If you are not fully vaccinated, please continue to wear a mask while entering the building, in common areas, and when leaving the building.

For children under 16 who are not eligible for a vaccination it will be a parent’s decision as to whether they choose to have their child wear a mask while at Body Zone.

In addition, we will no longer be doing temperature checks as you enter the building.


Our pool and pool programming such as lap swimming and aqua fitness classes are now open and safe! Access to the pool is now all reservation-only, fee-based and offers a multitude of safety measures for your health and well-being. The hydrotherapy pool is closed until further notice.

Aqua Fitness Class Information

  • Advance online reservations via Body Zone Self-Service are required.
  • Member fee: $5/class | Non-member fee: $15/class
  • MEMBERS! You need a Body Zone Self-Service account to get started — you’ll use this log in info to buy/book classes when you tap a button below. If you do not have a Self-Service account, you must sign up for one through an “invite” from Body Zone. This will guarantee that your Self-Service account is linked to your existing Body Zone active contract ensuring your member discount. Contact us for a Self-Service “invite.”
  • How to Buy/Book classes:
    1. Click a Buy & Book button located after the schedule below.
    2. Members may log in with their Self-Service info. Non-members simply need to click “REGISTER” in the lower right of the Self-Service log-in box to get started.
    3. BUY an Aqua Fitness Class PACKAGE.
    4. BOOK SESSIONS (you may begin scheduling them right away. The schedule will be released two weeks in advance.
  • Our non-member fee includes a Fitness Day Pass too. Let us know at check-in if you will be using the fitness center during your visit.
  • SilverSneaker participants registered at Body Zone are eligible for the member fee: $5/person.
  • Sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Class Descriptions

Aqua Fit
Aqua Fit is a total body workout in the shallow, using dumbbells and noodles. Cardio and strength training intervals will be introduced to help increase your fitness level. This class will be a good “push” but modifications will be given.

Aqua Jog
Aqua Jog is your way to increase your cardio fitness level as you run and jog to the beat of music with a distance goal of over three miles. You’ll be using aqua belts to allow you to float in deep water, although you are welcome to be in shallow. For all fitness levels.

Aqua Stride & Strength
This class is all about high-intensity cardio and resistance interval training. Participants are guaranteed a total body workout with a smile.

Aqua Strong
Anything goes in this fun, moderately intense class. Class focus is strength and cardio with variety every time. Expect a total body workout and all fitness levels are welcome.

Aqua Tabata
Tabata interval training is one of the most effective types of high-intensity interval training using a timer for work and rest. Mixing this format with the added resistance of water allows for a greater calorie burn and fast results in a short period of time. Modifications made for beginners.

Aqua Work & Stretch
This class will consist of cardio and strength with a dedicated 15-20 minutes of stretching exercises. Instructed by a certified yoga teacher, you’ll get deep and soothing stretches to help with tight muscles and injury prevention.

Aqua Zumba
Integrating the Zumba formula and philosophy with traditional aqua fitness disciplines, Aqua Zumba class blends it all together into a safe, challenging, water-based workout that’s cardio-conditioning, body toning, and most of all, exhilarating.

Sea Sculpt
Sea Sculpt is an all-muscle endurance and strengthening class using dumbbells, kickboards and noodles. Class is held in the shallow end of the pool.

Total Body Mix
This class is a total body workout in the shallow and deep. You’ll mix it up to maximize your fitness with modifications along the way. Class focus is on increasing cardiovascular stamina with muscle
toning.

Water Walk
This gentle low impact aqua fitness class is designed to get you moving. A variety of traveling exercises will offer a cardio workout to improve range of motion, muscular strength and stamina while decreasing stress of the joints. This class is excellent for those who are new to fitness and those with arthritis and fibromylagia.

Water Walk & Tone
Want to Water Walk with a boost of toning? Participants will use aqua dumbbells and noodles for strength work.

BOOK SESSIONS (you may begin scheduling them right away. The schedule will be released two weeks in advance.
  • Our non-member fee includes a Fitness Day Pass too. Let us know at check-in if you will be using the fitness center during your visit.
  • SilverSneaker participants registered at Body Zone are eligible for the member fee: $5/person.
  • Lap swimming sessions are 45-minutes long.
  • Up to five lanes will be open for reservation — one person per lane. Lane availability is always subject to change.
  • Lap swimming is offered multiple times every day beginning as early as 5:00 AM and occurring as late as 8:00 PM but the schedule is always subject to change.
  • Sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Clients must be 12 or older to book lap swimming. Clients under the age of 12 may participate but must make arrangements with the Director of Aquatics. One parent/guardian must supervise children ages 15 and younger. You may wait on our pool deck with a face mask on.
  • If parent/guardian wants to swim with the child, they must book an additional lane. There is no lane sharing at this time. Coaching from the deck is not permitted.
