Parent/Infant Water Survival Class – Level I & II

Level I class teaches children between the ages of six months and two years old to self-rescue. Children will learn the skill of rolling on their backs, when placed in the water head down, to float, rest and breathe and stay in the position until help arrives. As the child progresses, they will learn how to kick to the wall/step/ladder with rolling over for breath control and then exiting the pool independently. They’ll start their first classes in swimsuits and end the session wearing clothing. The goal and emphasis? Water safety first! Please note: children will have their face in the water. Parent/guardian will be in the pool with the child.

Level II class will continue to build skills and keep the momentum alive and are only available to those who have completed Level I.
