Lifeguarding Certification Blended Learning

• A three-day American Red Cross certified course for lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR/AED.  In person and online. 
• For first-time lifeguards and those whose certification has expired. Teaches skills needed to respond to and prevent aquatic emergencies.
• For ages 15+ by end of the class.
• IMPORTANT: All registrants must contact Juli Hyatt to schedule a one-hour appointment for the mandatory prerequisite swim skills test and to verify identity. 
• IMPORTANT: The online portion of the class must be completed prior to the first in-person class.  
• Must have five participants to conduct the class.
• Students must bring a towel, one-piece swimsuit, warm clothes and a writing utensil to class (CPR masks and books will be provided by Body Zone).
• Class location: Pool Party Room on main floor.
• Classes meet on Fridays from 4:00 – 10:00 pm, Saturdays from 10:00 am – 8:00 pm and Sundays from 10:00 am – 8:00 pm.
• Fee: $400 — Fee includes a $50 non-refundable prerequisite swim fee, CPR masks and books.

Lifeguarding Recertification Blended Learning

• A two-day, 10-hour, American Red Cross certified course for recertification for Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR + AED. In person and online.
• Must have a current Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED Certification.
• Must have five participants to conduct the course.
• IMPORTANT: All registrants must contact Juli Hyatt to schedule a one-hour appointment for the mandatory prerequisite swim skills test and to verify identity. 
• IMPORTANT: The online portion of the class must be completed prior to the first in-person class.  
• Students must bring lifeguarding book, CPR mask, towel, one-piece swimsuit, warm clothes and a writing utensil to class (CPR masks and books may be purchased online — ask Body Zone for the purchase link for these items).
• Class location: Pool Party Room on main floor.
• Classes meet Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. Must attend both.
• Fee: $250 – Fee includes a $50 non-refundable prerequisite swim fee
