creating an environment for change

A FREE WELLNESS PROGRAM FOR MEMBERS

We’ve all done it—thought about our goals or dreams, maybe even written them down with the best intentions. But when life gets busy, those plans often get pushed aside. It’s not that we didn’t truly want to achieve them; sometimes they simply weren’t the top priority, or time, energy, and resources got in the way. But what if there’s something deeper behind why change can feel so difficult?

Creating an environment for change starts with understanding where you are in the process. This session will explore the stages of change (Transtheoretical Model), examine what tends to hold us back, and highlight strategies that actually work when it comes to shifting perspectives and building lasting habits.

Join Body Zone fitness professional and nutritionist Michelle Harris to learn more. She’ll share five practical action steps to help spark growth and meaningful change especially when it comes to improving your nutrition and overall wellness.

Wellness hike

sound bath meditation

A FREE WELLNESS PROGRAM FOR MEMBERS

Join Melissa Voler, BZ group fitness instructor, for a special meditation experience where participants are bathed in sound.

The program begins with with a time for guided meditation and mindfulness, followed by a time of immersion into sounds and vibrations created by instruments such as crystal bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, gongs and water.

The program is open to anyone wishing to relax and enjoy a soothing experience.

The sound bath will take place with participants lying down on a mat. Please bring a blanket or towel.

A FREE WELLNESS PROGRAM FOR MEMBERS

Stress is not just “in your head.” It lives in the nervous system, the breath, the muscles, and even our thought patterns. Over time, chronic stress can affect sleep, mood, focus, recovery, and overall health.

In this workshop with Beth Harenza, Body Zone Yoga Therapist, you’ll learn:
– What stress actually does to the brain and body,
– Why willpower alone doesn’t regulate it,
– How yoga works from a nervous system perspective.

You’ll experience simple, science-informed yoga therapy tools including breathwork, mindful movement, and guided relaxation — practices designed to shift you out of fight-or-flight and into a more regulated, grounded state.

This session blends brief education with practical application, so you’ll leave understanding why yoga works and with techniques you can use immediately in daily life.

All levels welcome. No prior yoga experience needed.

Know your numbers! Learn your body fat percentage, muscle mass and more with a free InBody body composition screening plus results interpretation by a member of our team of fitness professionals.

What is an InBody screening? It’s a non-invasive, one-minute test that provides accurate body composition analysis — a detailed breakdown of your weight in terms of muscle, fat, and water.

Use the results of your screening to help guide your exercise, nutrition and even hydration goals.
