Free & Live Online Workouts by Body Zone’s Fitness Team

Please Note:

1. Workouts will take place live on Body Zone’s Facebook page or Zoom videoconferencing application.

2. For Facebook LIVE, get the Facebook app, “like” our page and get “notifications” if you want them by doing this.

3. Register for Zoom for free so you can test drive it in advance of your class. Zoom gives you a test “meeting” link and offers tutorials so you can become comfortable with the app. It’s a very user-friendly app. Test your video and audio by going to “preferences” on the Zoom app.

4. Body Zone Zoom “Meetings” open 10 minutes early so we can get organized and say hello!

6. Suggested props/equipment vary per class and may include mats, chairs, bands, and any dumbbells (or heavy cans or water bottles) you have at home. “Fight Club” attendees should wear gloves but not necessary. Instructors will have equipment and movement modifications for every workout.

Live, Online Classes: Descriptions

Arms, Abs & Legs:
Just like the title says! It’s time to keep those arms, abs and legs in shape during this time at home. Get ready for the burn!

Athletic Barre:
Grab a chair and join us for a barre class that focuses on building strong legs, core and upper body using small and repetitive moves.

BZ Boot Camp:
Melissa’s signature, energetic and athletic class mixes high intensity cardio and muscle conditioning.

BZ Fit Kids:
BZ Fit Kids by Coach Shakeem Hodge makes fitness fun for ages 7-12. Every 30-minute class will cover agility, core and strength work along with Shakeem’s basic introduction to boxing — just for kids! Beginners welcome. No prior exercise experience or equipment required. Every Tuesday (until further notice) at 11:15 am on Body Zone’s Facebook Live.

BODYATTACK is a sports inspired cardio workout for building strength and stamina. It’s a high energy interval training class that combines athletic and aerobic movements with strength and stabilization exercises.

BODYFLOW combines the best of eastern disciplines, like yoga and tai chi, with Pilates all set to soothing music.

Set to motivating music, BODYPUMP is a simple and athletic based workout that uses barbells with adjustable weights to strengthen, tone and define every major muscle in the body. It’s an ideal workout for every level because you are in charge of how much weight you use. At-home equipment modifications will be given.

This class focuses on the torso and sling muscles that connect upper to lower body. The workout consists of exercises that isolate (crunches and leg extensions) and integrate (standing balance and hovers) the various muscle groups.

Dance Party:
A fun mix of retro and pop music for a cardio dance workout.

Fight Club:
Train like a boxer with a pro boxer as your coach! Expect high energy and lots of fun in this high intensity cardio and strength class. Boxing technique and footwork will be a focus.

Full Body Push!
This will be a total body workout! Squats, push ups and presses will be used to make your heart rate rise and get you burning those calories.

Tammy’s HIIT class is all about intervals of strength, cardio and core to give you a full body workout.

Lower Body HIIT:
Class is all about the lower body with lots of cardio to keep your heart rate up!

“Rise & Shine” Gentle Yoga:
Start your day with breathing techniques, stretching and a yoga flow for your day.

Power Yoga:
A Vinyasa style, intermediate yoga class that moves you through all postures at a moderate pace with strong focus on breath awareness.

SilverSneakers Circuit:
A standing circuit workout that develops cardio and muscular endurance. Upper body strength work is alternated with non-impact aerobic choreography. Make sure you have a chair nearby for support and stretches.

SilverSneakers Classic:
Have fun and move to music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activity for daily living skills. Chair and equipment substitutes (per instructor) are all you need.

Step Works:
Expect cardio and step choreography fun even if you don’t have a step! This is LuAnn’s signature format — get ready.

Vinyasa Flow:
A moderately paced class with emphasis on good alignment and conscious movement with breath.

This is a Latin-inspired, dance-fitness class that incorporates international music and dance movements, creating a dynamic exhilarating, and effective fitness system. This class combines fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body using an aerobics/fitness approach.
